A Parametric Study of Coherent Coupling in Photonic Crystal VCSELs with 2x1 Arrangements of Defect Cavities

We report a parametric study of coherent transverse coupling in photonic crystal VCSELs with 2times1 arrangements of defect cavities. Out of 100 different devices, 71 yielded coherent arrays as determined by far field measurements.
